Buffalo

We saw a herd of buffalo near a watering hole. They stared at us for a while and we thought they might charge. Instead, they ran away from us. Good thing we didn't run, because a masai guide later told us that you're never supposed to run away or else they'll charge.

It's at a national park. We're going to Masai Mara later which is the really famous animal park. There are millions of animals migrating now, plus they have elephants, rhinos, and large carnivores.

It's best to stand your ground near buffalo, IBM employees, or the Swiss.

hey!
i heard that when buffaloes are in a herd they somehow become timid and are unlikely to attack, they are only dangerous when alone. so i think you are pretty safe from a herd of buffaloes
